Date Night

After 4 months we finally felt like Kaylee was ready for both of us to leave for Date Night :)  We LOVE Date Night and before China were pretty consistent...we'd shoot for 4 dates a month but usually got a solid 3 in. So, we have missed our special time together as a couple for sure! So thankful for God's grace that all along these last 4 months we've really been able to get plenty of one-on-one talk time with the big kids playing with Kaylee :)

We left all 4 kids with my parents...the big kids were all ready to help out big time but it turned out that they didn't need to. We prayed over Kaylee before we dropped the kids off and by God's grace alone, Kaylee only cried for about 12 seconds when we left (at least that's what Keegan calculated it to be) and then was fine the entire rest of the time! Kennady scooped her up as we walked out and tears started coming, then Sis said she got right down and played in the water.

Before we even left our neighborhood Brod's phone rang and Keeg was letting us know she was fine and telling us to have fun on our date ;)  Sweet guy!

When we arrived back to my parents, Kolson said, "Mom! You guys can do this every night...Kaylee was fine the whole time!" So Brod and I are back in the swing of Date Nights and thankful for this time together to refresh, catch up and do some forward planning :)
