Easter Break at the Beach :)

We LOVE our breaks from school! As soon as school got out on Friday before Easter Break we headed to the beach!

Kaylee Grace has been to the ocean one other time so she knew just what we were talking about when we announced we were going to spend a few days at the beach :)

We had a blast.....relaxed, watched movies (Frozen - Kaylee's new favorite!), read books, played in the sand and just had great family time.
Thank You, Jesus, for Your Love and sweet time away!

Vacation ~ November, 2012 / Thanksgiving

We took the kids out of school last week and the best family trip that we have ever had! It was perfect timing since we had just been matched with our Kaylee Grace and we could just RELAX and make special memories as a family ;)

About to get on the plane ~ our kids' first time flying!

Keegan enjoyed having his own single seat

Kols is ready to go

Sis and I are getting excited

Keegan eating calamari

Of course there were a few stunts ;)

All three kids stayed in the water the WHOLE time!

Keeg found coral

Kols brought his home with us :)

It's hard to believe that 14 years ago we came to Maui on our Honeymoon!!!

Heading to Dukes for Dinner (our favorite eating spot)

Kols - 8

Sissy - 12

Keeg - 10

It was hard to believe that Christmas is around the corner when the weather was 85 degrees the whole time

On the beach

Our kids would have eaten at Duke's every meal if we let them!

~Thanksgiving 2012 ~

We had our family over for Thanksgiving Dinner -
we're so blessed to have my Grandpa with us still! We love hosting Thanksgiving and having our house smell like turkey all day :)  It's the BEST!!! Sissy and I made a yummy apple cobbler as well - actually she made it mostly all by herself and it turned out delicious ;)
Can't wait to see Brod's family and do Thanksgiving with them ;)

Hoping to hear an update on our paperwork and approvals soon ;)

More Summer Memories...

Summer went by WAY too fast! We LOVE our time as a family - it is about this time every year that we consider Home Schooling so that we can have our kids home with us full-time! But God has led us to be salt and light on our school campus...so we will head back to school and try our best to SHINE His Light! Imperfect as we are, we pray that He will use us to reach others for Him!!! So as we were getting ready to head back, we were reflecting on some of our favorite summer memories and I realized that we didn't even have some of them posted for us to look back on  :)

We LOVED our time with Ben and Alese in Palo Alto!

At Stanford

Keegan hiding  :)

The kids helped Alese make breakfast

Ben and Alese have a park next to their apartment where we played soccer and did obstacle races!

Watching a movie before bed

It was a quick trip but one of our kids' very favorites of the summer!!!

Here are some more of our memories from Avila:

Sissy took a picture of her feet in the sand  :)

Trying to find some crabs

There's one!!!

The Crab Hunters

We found a crab claw!

We are already missing our beach time!

Thank You, Jesus, for such a sweet summer! We feel refueled and refreshed to head back. Please cover us and help us to be BOLD for You. Help us to live like You are coming back today!!! We want to share Your love with others but we know that without Your Spirit we have nothing. So please fill us every day and help us to LOVE as You Love!
