Date Night

Brodie and I are sticklers when it comes to Date Night...it's pretty much a non-negotiable. Pastor Mitch and Jami have been such great examples to us over the years about really keeping their marriage first - which creates stability in the home. With a young, busy family and keeping up with ministry work, our Date Night has become something that each of us really look forward to each week. A time to reflect, connect on a deeper level and look forward intentionally. Well....since we know that we won't have an "official" Date Night for a little while (as we will really be hunkering down as a family and working to make Kaylee's world small so that she can feel safe and learn to trust and not leaving her with a baby sitter for a while), Brodie planned a special date for us tonight. My parents had the kids come over for dinner and they all watched a movie :)  Brodie took me to a little restaurant outside of town called The Schoolhouse -
we loved it!

We had some great time to really look ahead and determine how we can support one another and encourage each other in this new season ahead.
Thankful for this special time!!!

4 more days till China!!!
