Thank You, Jesus! Eye Surgery Day

Thank You, Jesus for...

Doing IMMESURABLY more than all we can ask or imagine!
Friends and Family who PRAISED You while Kaylee was in surgery
Wonderful, caring nurses...many of which knew You...and others who You allowed us to share about You with
Opening a door to not only witness to Kaylee's eye doctor but also allowing a FULL ON conversation with her about You!
Kaylee's surgery going better than the doctor had hoped it would!
A peaceful recovery :)

Getting ready

Really? Another surgery???

Starting to feel a little sleepy from the medicine

Feeling a little silly, too!

So thankful for a peaceful recovery this time!!!

Home and healing...eyes will be red for a couple of weeks

Thank you all for praying!!!

Kaylee Grace :)

One of the sweetest sounds we know these days is this girl's giggle :)

And look what other progress she made today...this was HUGE!!!

I had a bowl of cereal and gave Kaylee a "bite" (where I put the spoon to her mouth and touched her lips with it) and a little milk touched her lips...she didn't seem to mind so I gave her another "bite". Still she seemed to want more so I made up her own bowl...one for her and one for Keeg. She started by feeding him...

And she cleaned up constantly
 Once she saw Keegan eating...
She took a "bite" of her own

Then she decided to try Keegan's cereal
 Pretty good!!!
Over and over, she took "bites". She didn't open her mouth, but some milk went in for sure!
And each person that came out she would show them how she can "eat"!
 YUMMY!!!
Good Job Kaylee!!! You can do it!!! Just like Nana says that she is praying for you...one day you're going to eat something and then just start eating every good thing we put in front of you!!!

Please pray for our Sweet Girl...eye surgery bright and early tomorrow morning. Praying for Jesus' Peace to cover and fill her and for the surgeon's hands...that by God's grace she will only need one eye surgery!!!

We love your heart for orphans, the least of these, and children in general...we know the plans He has for you are GREAT! He has placed many gifts in you to be used for His Glory...your joy, love for children, leadership, responsibility, thoughtfulness, your ability to see a problem and immediately take action and initiative, the gift of wisdom, and so many more. We are looking forward to seeing His Light in you shine in Jr. High and ALL the days of your life :) We love you, girl! Love, Dad and Mom

We LOVE long weekends ;)

I took the big kids on a yogurt date :)

Our first time out without Kaylee

Movie Night

Trying to get Kols' loose tooth out~ Kaylee is comforting him :)

Teeter-tottering in the backyard

Always wearing someone else's shoes ~ these are Kolson's :)

Keeg took Kaylee in the backyard to hunt snails ~ we told him to make sure he teaches her not to shoot towards people, so he came up with this idea ;)

The Lake

We haven't been up to the cabin or the lake since China so we decided to head up and try it to see how Kaylee did. She seemed to like being on the lake (other than the life jacket that was in her way) ;)  She did pretty well at the cabin...we had a clean up day today which she didn't think was too fun, but other than that she did pretty well!

Here we go!

We will need to remember to bring her other life jacket next time ;)

She's still not really sure what we are doing

Ready to go ~ snacks and all

Ready for our first tubing of the season :)

Here are the Keeg and Kols ~ too cold for Sis

These boys could tube all day...no matter how cold it is!

The girls are riding in the front trying to keep warm ;)

Daddy took her to check out the water

Dipping her toes in

Kaylee walked the dog as we did clean up around the cabin

Getting all the weeds :) Hard workers!!! The cabin looked great after our work day ;)
