YAY!!! Casts are OFF!!!

Here we go....time to get your casts off Girl!

The removal didn't hurt but it sure scared her :(

Kaylee couldn't have been happier to get them off! When we got there the nurse said she was going to need to put the full casts back on for another week...until she unwrapped her casts and saw...
How WELL they had healed! Thank You Jesus!!!
Her left thumb is so tight to her hand that she will need some PT to help it to function so we will start that next week - we already know that she will do great!
She only has to wear casts at night time ~ which she was NOT happy about!
Ready for bed...rocking with Mommy and quickly falling asleep :)

But she LOVED playing in the water when she got home!
You would never even know that she had an extra thumb!

We are AMAZED at how great they look! We were expecting there to be a lot more healing to go
The big kids came with us to have casts taken off...in the Physical Therapy room playing a fun game!

Morning with Mom was  today but since we had Kaylee (see her little toes in her car seat?) we weren't quite ready to be with a huge crowd...so we headed to the Starbucks drive thru where we got cinnamon rolls, bagels, hot chocolate and an egg sandwich and we did Bible Time in the car ;) I am going to take the big kids for a little one on one time tomorrow - it will be Brodie's first time alone with Kaylee...she's ready and I'm sure she'll do GREAT! She now cries when daddy leaves in the morning and runs to give him a hug when he gets home!!!
